Rules of The
AugustaPool
1.) Picking Your Fantasy Team:
A.)
Each participant
creates a "fantasy" team of 10
players based on the following
criteria:
-
3 Players ranked 1 - 15 in the World Rankings
-
3 Players ranked 16 - 30 in the World Rankings
-
3 Players ranked 31 and higher in the World Rankings
-
1
amateur player
-
Team
selection may begin on April 1, 2010 and will end at 7am EST, Thursday,
April 8th, 2010.
-
Available pool of players is
based on current Master Tournament Invitees that also have a World Ranking
or are an amateur.
-
Unless
an amateur, unranked players (ie Fuzzy Zoeller) are not available for
selection.
B.)
Changes to
your team
-
ONLY ONE change to your team
is allowed after your
initial selection.
-
Changes
are allowed up till 7am EST, Thursday, April 8th, 2010.
-
To
review your team prior to the 1st Round, go to the Team
Review page (you must have entered a password for this
review page to work)

To
make changes, you have two choices:
-
either
email them to jon@augustapool.com
prior to the above deadline OR
-
resubmit your
ENTIRE team using on the Team Selection Page;
however, you must use the EXACT SAME team name. I will use
your last update as your final choice.
C.)
Player withdrawls
-
An additional
change will be allowed if someone from your team withdraws from the from The Masters prior their tee time on
April 8th, 2010.
-
If it is found that one of your 10
fantasy players has withdrawn from The Masters prior their tee time on
April 8th, 2010,
and you fail to select a replacement player, the next highest ranking player
(regardless of their tier: top 15, top 16-30, etc) will be selected as
your replacement. Ranking position is based on the rankings
found on the Team Selection Page. An
amateur's replacement will simply be the next
guy on the list.

If, however, one of your players withdraws
AFTER they tee off for the 1st round of the tournament, you will not be allowed to pick up another
player.
